man out of time

30 October 2004, 16:57

Love is always scarpering or cowering or fawning You drink yourself insensitive and hate yourself in the morning To murder my love is a crime But will you still love The man out of time?

I have said it so many times before, but it continually needs repeating. I will write about it once again because it can not be said enough – and I hope I feel this way forever.

(There is still so much love and light left in this world.)

It is everywhere, if you open yourself to it. When the ancient masters said if you want to be given everything, give everything up, they were not using empty phrases.

I am forever amazed by the kindness and generosity of people everywhere. Given the chance, nearly anyone will be more than happy to help in any way (however small it may be) that they can.

I am beggining to realise that the way people treat you depends much on the way you view them. If you cease to judge, others have no choice. If you regard everyone you meet with kindness and compassion, you will find it reflected back at you so brightly you will have to close your eyes to hold in the tears…

We are all human.

We are all the same.

It is the similaritites we must remember, not the differences. Every day I see more and more of myself in other people; and them in me.

From everyone, there is something.

* * * * *

Last night, a conversation with a man I did not know, but who had an immence desire to help me. He was not rich. He was not well read. But he knew so much.

-Qu’est-ce que c’est, ton nom?

-N’import quoi.

.

Thank you. To you, and to all I have come across before. Today, I help as many people as I can… there is always someone with less.
