Last night was a little crazy. Somehow we ended up driving about an hour and a half to get to this spot (the southernmost point of Louisiana) at about three in the morning. I took this shot and one other one before the mosquitoes tore our heads off and we had to run away.

It was completely ridiculous, but we were looking for adventure. I guess we got what we were looking for. I don’t know. Sometimes, I wonder if I’ve not become jaded over the years. But then I find myself on the end of the world at an abandoned factory in a mosquito infested swamp in the middle of the night with someone I love and haven’t seen in months. And I know there’s still some hope left for me after all. Right? Right?
