This one is for scale. These two were the only other inhabitants of the dunes I encountered on that morning… a man and his dog really give a sense of the massive size of this place. Two, small figures lost in a a sea of sand. I was heading down from Star Dune (695ft) about 1.5 miles into the dune field, and they were making their way up. The vantage point is from one of the lower dunes, about 1/4 mile from the opposite dune which we see them traversing.
