Well, it seems I have lucked out once again… I made it back all in one piece, dodging all those obstacles a long the way. Against all odds perhaps, but it feels good to have done it.

All in all, it was a great trip. Just over 6,700 miles traveled in only 21 days. It was a bit of a blur, a bit of a dream, and a bit of clarity all rolled into one mad dash.

It’s gonna take me a while to really get my thoughts together and put everything into some sort of order, but rest assured I’m working on it. I shot off about 600 or so frames, including 8 rolls of film, and some Polaroids; and plan to spend the better part of this next week sifting though, processing, printing, scanning, and whatever else. So, updates here may be a bit scarce over the next few days, but I’ll be sure to throw something up now and again to keep you vultures occupied. It seems much of the photo community has short attention spans and if I don’t post for a few days I end up talking to myself for a while until people realize I’m still alive over here and wander back in…

So, I guess what I’m saying is hang in there. Updates are on the way, and I’ll do my best to make it worth it.


THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO READS THIS, GLANCES OVER MY PHOTOS, AND/OR COMMENTS. I’m feeling really inspired lately, and all the positive feedback surely helps keep me going. If you hadn’t noticed before, the site has been on autopilot for the last few weeks while I was away. Thanks to everyone who’s sent mail while I was gone and if I haven’t gotten back to you it’s just because I’m swamped, not because I don’t care. So, thanks again!
