Forgive the title.

This is a bit of a sad post for me. The above photo is the very last photo taken with my 5D. That is for now. Or hopefully only for a little while.

You see, the day after this was taken, I was out on the lake (the very same on in the photo). And it began to storm. And well… my dear friend didn’t make it out. Physically, yes; But I think she’s quite sick indeed. She never was quite a swimmer. So, she’s currently packed away in a box waiting for the postman to take her to the Canon Repair Facility.

Oh what will I do for two weeks without her!!!

Ha. I’ll find a way to cope, I’m sure. So, for the next few days/weeks until we are reunited you may be seeing a bit more film posted up (not necessarily a bad thing), and likely some dips into the archives. Heh, it will give me reason to scan a bunch of film I have lying around and get some posts up that I’ve been putting off or just never got around to.

So stay tuned. =)

P.S. Sorry to all who I owe emails to! I’ve been really busy dealing with workish stuff and trying to cope with my terrible loss! I’ll get to it soon. Promise.
