![]() Swiftcurrent Lake at Sunset, Glacier National ParkPublished 18 October 2007 Well, I’m back again- will try to resume regular activity. I came home again to another pile of work awaiting me, so I’m back to playing catch-up. Sifting through piles of emails and framing/matting I have to work on over the next two days… have a show Saturday, so I’ll be pressed for time getting everything together. I want to thank everyone for the comments and emails while I was away- I’ll try to respond as soon as possible when things calm down a bit. This is a shot from the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park. This is a view of Swiftcurrent Lake from just above the Many Glacier Hotel (just out of the frame to the right). This was a longer exposure, probably around two minutes, taken just after the sun had fallen below the horizon. Gorgeous colors for sure, but the wind was really blowing, so an exposure this long was quite difficult to obtain with any type of clarity. Taken on Fiji Velvia 100 slide, Scanned; Levels and Curves in Photoshop.
