Skinny White Boy Alert.

Well, this is a bit of a self-portrait, though my friend Clint pushed the shutter for me. =) That’s me in the shot though. Four of me actually. Or three of me and one splash. Anyway…

This is a combined shot of four separate frames blended into one in Photoshop. This is a concept I had been wanting to try for quite a long time, and finally a suitable opportunity presented itself. This was a first try, so it’s not quite perfect, but I’d definitely like to give it another try sometime soon.

Here’s another one, of Clint, that was taken in the same location that day.

Both were taken at a little place called Skinny Dip Falls about a half-mile hike off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was such a beautiful secluded location, you could definitely see where the name must have come from. Unfortunately, there happened to be a group of YMCA kids around that day, so we couldn’t let loose like we would have liked. It was such a beautiful day though, we couldn’t resist getting wet, even though the water was still really chilly!
