Sticking with black and white for a bit…

This was taken at yet another of the many thermal areas in Yellowstone. The photographic opportunities like this were endless. At this particular spot, I could have stayed for ever snapping shots of the people waling by. The back-light was just perfect and the way the steam was rising from the hot spring behind was just unreal. I also shot a bit of 8mm film here, so I’m quite anxious to find how that’s turned out.

Still working on catching up on emails and whatnot. Sorting through it all… slowly. Finished a good bit of the work I had to get done for the weekend today, so hopefully I’ll have a bit of downtime to relax tomorrow. It will be nice to get out and enjoy the beautiful autumnal weather we’ve been having down here.

Oh yeah, I forgot… yesterday was my birthday. Just in case someone wanted to send gifts or donate to the Hasselblad fund to help me buy a new toy… Or hey, now’s a great time to buy a print! All monies earned go right back into making new photos…

1/1250 seconds, f/14, ISO 200.
