Pastel Petals #2

Published 7 June 2007

Okay, well I promised a daytime shot and while this one is arguably quite ambiguous, it was done during daylight hours. Even if there’s no way of actually verifying that. =)

This is another shot done with my Epson 4870 flatbed scanner. I’m not typically one to go for flower macros, but these scanner shots really draw me for some reason. I played around for a few hours yesterday scanning everything under the sun (See? Under the sun), and got some pretty interesting results. This was one of the more straightforward shots that came from the experiments, but perhaps I’ll post a few more in the coming days if it wouldn’t bore you too much…

It just seems I haven’t been out with my camera during daylight hours much lately. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing, really. I do have few rolls of film that have been lying around for quite a while that REALLY need to be developed. And they were shot during the day. Stay tuned.

Info: Epson 4870 flatbed scanner @ 9600 DPI
