On The Seventh Day...

Published 6 February 2007

I worked until just before six o’clock today. I had wanted to get off before the sun was gone to get some shooting in. I could tell it would be a nice sunset this evening; After hunting them my entire life, I just have knack for knowing. I’m a sucker for sunsets really.

Anyway, I got a little delayed and didn’t get out until later than I had planned and the sun had already gone down. I knew I was just a bit too late, but I jumped in the car and drove about 90 miles an hour to the closest shoreline to try and catch the last bit of warmth. I had no idea really where I was going to go, or what I wanted to shoot; I just knew this light was too good to miss!

In the end, it was a bit past those precious prime moments, but I was still able to catch some amazing colors. I stayed until well after dark…
