I set this shot up for the WeeklyShot “Look Up” theme. It was really quite a task piling up all the thick dictionaries! In order to get the wide angle and DOF I had wanted, they had to nearly reach the ceiling. The lighting was from above, from the ceiling fan light. I used that to create the fade effect as the books tower to infinity.
