Sunbeams shining through his hair,
Appearing not to have a care.

This is a shot I took yesterday during the rainstorm. The light was coming in so strong though the window during a short break in the storm.

It was really peaceful being locked up inside with the rain falling on the roof, and the brief periods of calm punctuated by such intense sunshine. This was just before the end of the storm, and when it finally broke a rainbow covered the sky.

I’ve been so ridiculously busy lately, and shooting and processing this image was a sort of meditation. A quick exercise to get my mind off everything I had been working on and do something just for the sake of creating something that I saw in my head. Now, looking at it, I get that same sense of warmth I had yesterday seeing the sunbeams shining through the clouds.
