![]() Holga Pier StudyPublished 15 August 2007 Here’s another try with long exposures on the Holga. I’ve been doing a lot of these, but unfortunately at least 80-90% end up as complete failures. Out of three rolls of film, I felt this was about the only one worth printing… It’s pretty tough determining exposures on these when using the ND filter. I might get it right on about half. Then on the other half the tripod ends up moving somehow. Or my DIY shutter release gizmo falls off and the exposure is botched. Or I move (I have to hold the filter in front of the lens manually, sometimes for four or five minutes). But, aside from the complaints and complications I actually do like how this one turned out. Eventually I’ll get the whole system tweaked and worked out and perhaps you’ll be seeing more of these. If not, I’ll likely throw the Holga into the lake after enough unsuccessful attempts. Let’s hope for the former…
