Is it just me, or is there something wrong about this shot? I can’t quite place my finger on it…
Oh, and anyone browsing in FireFox- this one’s gonna looks pretty drab compared to your Color Managed neighbors… NEVER FEAR- Firefox 3 is on the horizon. Just downloaded the beta today, and enabled color management… so far my computer hasn’t blown up or melted. I’m excited. It’s about $%@# time! Plus, it’s pretty sexy to boot… mmm, the internet looks so pretty in here!
Thanks to everyone who got a rise out of yesterday’s commentary... I am really overwhelmed at the amount of response it generated. I certainly enjoyed hearing all of your thoughts, and I hope I didn’t offend anyone. But hey- I did get some great conversations started, no? If anyone hasn’t read it yet, head over there and check the comments- there are some really great points written there. Also, if you haven’t gathered yet, I do LOVE getting feedback. It’s a large part of why I continue to trudge forward myself and share my work
daily sometimes. Stop in (click through if you’re reading in RSS) and say hello. Take a browse though the archives, pick your favorite photo, and tell me why. Or pick one you hate and tear it to shreds. Hell, I even like hearing from people even if they have nothing to say. It’s just nice just getting to know people who I would otherwise not have come in contact with if not for photography. That is one of the biggest things I have gleamed from this whole blogging experience- so keep it coming!
This is another simple shot, but quite pleasing for me… sometime it’s the little things that get ya’... just a bit more of that afternoon delight and some nice green (assuming you are one of the lucky ones who can see the green- see above).
*Edit: for anyone who’s interested, I’ve posted a slightly cropped version to flickr at Phil’s suggestion.
