This is my friend, Tyler. He was one year, four months, and twelve days old when I took this photo.

He’s one of my favorite photographic subjects sometimes. I often refrain from posting ‘boring’ family shots, but I’ve loved this one from the moment I hit the shutter. It’s been sitting in my archives for over a month now, unprocessed… until tonight. I knew it had something that I really liked, but I wasn’t quite sure exactly how to proceed to get the desired result. In the end, I just went with what felt right, and didn’t think about it too much.
