![]() Dixie National ForestPublished 23 June 2007 As I was leaving Canyonlands National Park it had begun to snow. I was headed through Dixie National Forest on the way to Bryce Canyon. The snow storm had broken momentarily as I came though the pass down thorough the valley into Cedar City. I stopped at this bend in the roads as the sun broke through the clouds, and must have snapped six or eight photos with the 5D. For some reason, none of them has near the detail or feeling as this one frame shot on my little Lubitel 2 medium format. It’s amazing sometimes what such a simple little machine can do compared to a $2000 digital camera body. Film will never die in my book. I’m just getting around to processing some of the rolls of film from that trip; I can’t wait to see the rest. Info: Shot on Fuji Provia 160S, on my Lubitel 2
