This was actually taken the same day as the two previous shots, just a few hours earlier at sunset. The original is quite colorful, for some reason there was something that has bothered me about it for some time. So, I decided to give this a monotone treatment to see how it compared. I think I’m a bit more pleased with it now.

This is an old gas station that I happened to pass by just at sunset. The colors were amazing, and the architecture against the sky really caught my interest. This is the only shot I was able to get off before the colors and drama faded from the sky. Ironically, now it seems I prefer it in black and white…

The site is on autopilot while I’m away for a week or so in Tennessee and North Carolina. I’ll be away from the computer, so I’ll have to catch up on emails when I return!
