![]() Blueberry PancakesPublished 1 May 2008 Well, I wasn’t really sure if this one worked for me or not so I thought what better reason to post it… There are a few elements that I do enjoy, but overall I’m just not sure. I’d love to know what others think of this shot. From the same diner on the same night as the last two shots, but a bit different perspective. As I was explaining to Haggis in an email earlier, I think the Pentax really gives me a different vision than some of my other cameras (it’s certainly the same for any camera). But, the Pentax gives me a vision that I’m just not quite used to- One that I’ve never seen or been interested in before. I can’t quite put my finger on exactly what it is or why that camera might give me such a specific viewpoint. Also, it’s interesting to note that I bought the camera to do (what else) some specific landscape work, that I’ve yet never tried. Actually, I’ve never ever gotten any color film through, which is also what I had envisioned before purchasing it… strange, but I’m liking it. Let the camera do it’s thing, and try no to interfere with it’s particular vision! Every tool has a particular use, and the photographer must know when and how to use each one… Anyway, I think this will be the last shot from the Pentax for a bit. And also the last portrait. I’m getting intimidated having people in every shot lately! Pentax 645, Kodak Portra BW400CN, Process D-76 Stock @ 14 min.
