Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful comments I received while I was away. Seeking Focus is officially back online in propria persona. No more robots masquerading in my likeness. At least for now.

The trip was great, and maybe just what I needed to get some creative juices flowing again. I was finally able to wander around (in daylight mind you) with a bunch of cameras snapping all kinds of photos. North Carolina is always beautiful, and a kind of photographer’s paradise. Plus, it’s one of the first trips I’ve ever taken with a fellow photographer, so it was great to have someone up for some wandering around, rather than them just waiting around for me to get my fix. =) I’m sure some of the shots from the recent trip will show up on the site in the near future.

This is a shot of the Historic Blue Swallow Motel in Tucumcari, New Mexico, from waaay back in February. I’ve still got loads of shots from that trip yet to be posted!
