Blue Ridge Panorama

Published 29 June 2007

Check it out large. Just do it. Sorry about the rather large file (750kb), but it just had to be done.

This is a stitched image made from five composite frames, taken from the top of Devil’s Courthouse just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. In the large size (hint) you can see the parking lot below and the parkway stretching across the mountains in the distance. This is actually a pretty clear day up on the parkway, and for this part of the Smokies for this time of year. Summer haze and pollution can lead to notoriously disappointing views.

Warning: Another shameless plug ahead. Stop reading now…

Seeking Focus will be participating in the first New Orleans Art Market this weekend (Saturday), at Palmer Park on the corner of Carrollton and Caliborne. So, if anyone’s going to be in the New Orleans area, please come by and say hello. The market will be held from 09:00-16:00.
