   Strong composition. Perfect use of this typical light.

   Gritty with great light. Much cleaner than other rooms.

   The many sources of light make for interesting textures.

   Nice composition and lighting. I think the texture on the ceiling adds dimension.

   You were right about the appeal of the lighting. Just after opening this image and before I read your description, the first thing that came up in me was “wauw this light is pretty sweet”.
