Granny Anna Mae lived on Exposition Blvd for a while, and played in the same giant oaks——the candy was then what they called “penny candy”, then 5cents——the sign has been painted over a couple of times—-and ofcourse, now it’s stationary at the zoo—-the old horse used to pull it up and down the streets on New Orleans…
