I can’t believe you got the ground “broken” and actually got some stuff to grew in that front yard area. Some said (that would be me included) that it couldn’t be done! What a chore that must have been… so many little rocks buried by years of sediment, plus ground as hard as hard and compacted as cement. WOW, very impressed.
Yeah, it was a bit of work with the ‘ol pickaxe, but it was worth it. The neighbors’ loved the bottle garden, and were so pleased to see some plants growing where there had been nothing but weeds and brambles for years!
